Chapter 36 The Relaxed and Carefree 3e Exam
Chapter 36 The Relaxed and Carefree 3e Exam
Chu Zihang exclaimed in shock, realizing the madness involved. He continued:
"Honestly, the ones who want you to get into trouble right now aren't necessarily Long, but rather the students who invested money in you."
I have no doubt that if there were a button that could kill you, even if you were an elite gambler destined to slay the Dragon King, those gamblers would press it without hesitation.
Su An chuckled: "They're all spendthrifts."
Suddenly, the classroom door creaked open again.
Professor Manstein stepped out from the side, gave Su An a cold glance, and looked at his watch. "Everyone is here. Now, let's announce the exam rules!"
Cheating is strictly prohibited, and violators will be disqualified from all activities!
Do not try to peek at other people's exam papers. The camera covers the entire classroom, with no blind spots!
Do not attempt to bring electronic communication devices, as radio waves are monitored in the classroom!
"I know you are all geniuses, but I can tell you that people who are even more talented than you have also taken exams in this classroom. Every cheating method you can think of has been tried by someone..." Professor Manstein said in a dramatic and authoritative tone.
Each person had a nameplate in front of their seat; Su An's nameplate simply read "SuAn".
Su An was stunned for a moment, realizing that this was his official English name. How could he have been so hasty?
Su An gently sat down in her seat, and the moment her bottom touched the chair, a groan erupted in the classroom.
Su An looked at Chu Zihang with suspicion and asked, "What's going on?"
Chu Zihang seemed speechless: "Because you've involved so much money, some students have even started betting on whether you can successfully reach your seat. Obviously, those who bet on you not reaching your seat have already lost everything."
Su An looked around. The students seemed to come from all over the world, with different skin tones and face shapes, all wearing the same Kassel College uniform. There were quite a few pretty girls, making them a pleasing sight to behold.
"My name is Kigexin, Chairman of the Kassel Economic Association. Su An, it's a pleasure to meet you. You're our 'S' class. Could you sign an autograph for me?" The boy on his right turned around and shook hands with him. The boy had a handsome face, his blond hair was combed back, and his tie was neatly pressed. He handed over his business card with his other hand, exuding the air of a Wall Street elite.
"Me?" Su An was a little embarrassed when asked for an autograph for the first time. "My handwriting is terrible."
Kige handed Su An a pen and a notebook. Su An, unable to refuse his hospitality, left his scrawled handwriting on them.
"We hope to invite you to join the Kassel Economic Association as its president. We are committed to attracting talent who will be a driving force in finance, and our members are located throughout the global financial community."
Without a doubt, you will lead the Kassel Economic Association to even greater heights…”
Kigexin even used honorifics, his eyes filled with admiration for Su An.
"Alright, gentlemen, this is not the time for socializing. If you don't pass the 3E exam, you won't be able to build a network at this school."
Professor Manstein interrupted Kiggshin.
"Please turn off your phone before we begin, and place it on the corner of the table along with your student ID."
Various shutdown sounds filled the classroom, and the black curtain wall silently moved out from the interlayer of the carved wooden window.
All the windows were closed, the wall lights in the classroom were turned on, and the proctors walked down the aisle distributing several A4-sized test papers and a sharpened pencil to each new student.
The exam paper was completely blank.
A collective gasp rippled through the room. The blank exam paper surprised everyone, and someone raised their hand.
"Don't doubt it, there's nothing wrong with the exam. I'll be outside the classroom; you can ask me any questions. Discussion is allowed, as long as you don't copy other people's answers," Professor Manstein said. "Good luck."
Professor Manstein and the proctors left the classroom. As the door closed, the students looked around nervously, whispering amongst themselves, like ants on a hot plate, their faces showing expressions of utter disbelief.
They can't copy other people's answers. Where do the answers come from in an exam without even questions?
At that moment, the broadcasting system suddenly started playing a high-energy rock song, Michael Jackson's "Beat It".
The students looked at each other, completely dumbfounded.
There was only one exception: Su An, who was confident of victory.
"They will use strong music to cover up the dragon runes. You need to concentrate and listen carefully to the sub-melody in the low register. That is the dragon rune incantation."
When others resonate, they experience "spiritual vision" and exhibit unusual behaviors. Don't panic. It's okay if you don't resonate or have spiritual vision. Just listen carefully and copy my answer. Fingel's words have now come true.
Su An pricked up his slightly twitching ears and, sure enough, heard a loud, bright voice, and it seemed as if someone was chanting something in a low voice, like a curse or a hymn.
"Word of Power: Prophet." Su An understood halfway through the sentence. He felt the alchemical patterns pulsating within his body and immediately began drawing on the white paper without hesitation.
"As expected of the one and only 'S' rank among the freshmen, your composure once again proves your ability."
Kigexin said from the side.
"I'm completely clueless. Maybe I won't be able to pass the 3E exam. If that happens, I have something to ask you."
"No, no, I was just drawing ducks." Su An tried to cover up the fact that the answer to the first question did indeed look like countless little ducks pieced together.
"I hope you can lead the world's finance?" Kiggin completely ignored his little duck.
"Leadership? World finance?? Aren't we studying dragon slaying?" Su An felt that this matter had nothing to do with him.
"Not all hybrids are focused on slaying dragons. And the Lionheart Society and the student council are both recruiting, but I think it's more like using a bunch of cannon fodder to cultivate a terrible genius."
The world is vast, and everyone has their own aspirations.
I have always believed in the power of finance. We hybrids can use massive amounts of money and strategic maneuvering to bring a new breath to the world's finance system. It's just that we lack a genius like Caesar or Chu Zihang.
"I may lack the ability, but you can!"
Kige said in a low voice, "I guess you're the 'Persian Cat' who bet two hundred million dollars on winning. Taking the plunge yourself, what a brilliant move."
"Thank you for your kind offer, but I have no interest in the new trends in global finance." Su An waved his hand. What did these new trends have to do with him?
Kigexin remained silent for a moment, a look of disappointment appearing in his pupils, and tears welled up in his eyes, flowing silently down his cheeks.
Su An's heart skipped a beat. "Brother, don't cry. We can talk this over... I know that Liu Bei's tears brought Zhuge Liang out of seclusion, but don't just rush in and start crying..."
Although I like money, I really have no interest in becoming a financial tycoon.
I'd say you'd be better off going to find Fingel; his bottom line is -30 meters, he'd be perfect for finance.
"Ah owe-"
Fingel was happily munching on a pork knuckle in the Norton Pavilion when he suddenly sneezed, sending the knuckle flying.
Fingel wiped his nose and angrily shouted, "Who, who's badmouthing me behind my back!"
