Leon glanced behind Lucy and Anne's shapely buttocks.
"It's hidden inside the clothes, so naturally this feature can't be revealed."
Lucy and Anne blushed slightly.
The two of them were wearing very loose clothes, and Leon immediately understood. "You two go back to the inn first, I'll come over in a bit."
"Yes."
Lucy and Anne originally wanted to express their gratitude to Leon, but seeing Leon's attitude, they swallowed back all the words they had prepared, such as "I have no way to repay Your Highness..."
After Lucy and Anne left, Leon's gaze returned to Anna beside him.
"What's the matter, Your Highness?"
Anna sensed that Leon's gaze was strange.
"Sister Anna, have you ever thought about finding a partner?"
Leon suddenly chuckled and asked.
"what?"
Anna looked at Leon, took two steps back, and paled.
"Ahem, no, Sister Anna, please don't misunderstand. I was just asking out of curiosity as a junior, I didn't mean anything by it."
Leon composed himself.
"Hmm... I have thought about it. Many families in the next village have expressed their interest in marriage to me, but I feel... I'm not too fond of them."
Anna said shyly, "My father often urges me to get married. He says that if I don't get married soon, I'll never get married."
"Does Anna have someone she likes?"
Leon smiled and spoke very frankly. After all, Anna was Helena's sister, so she was his sister too. How could family members speak like two different people?
Well, the main reason is that Anna's personality is very straightforward, and she is not good at hiding her emotions.
"The one I like..."
Upon hearing this, Anna's face flushed red, and her voice became much softer.
Seeing this, Leon already knew the answer.
"Is this Mr. Rosen?"
Leon probed.
"Ah... how did you know that?"
Anna exclaimed in surprise, her face showing the shame of having her little secret discovered.
Anna is an older single woman, and Rosen is also an older single man. Both of them are family-oriented and loyal. Based on Leon's previous probing, it can be confirmed that Rosen also likes Anna.
Ugh,
It seems I've unintentionally brought together a wonderful couple.
Leon's face revealed the "auntie smile" that often appears on the faces of female fans when reading BL (Boys' Love) novels.
“Mr. Leon, you…you mustn’t be talking nonsense.”
Anna felt incredibly embarrassed when she saw Leon smiling meaningfully.
"Don't worry, I will keep it a secret. But as a reward for knowing your secret, Anna, I'll tell you a secret too."
Leon spoke mysteriously.
"A secret? About Helena?"
Anna's blushing face instantly turned serious, like a worried mother listening to her daughter's progress at school during a parent-teacher meeting.
"No, no, no, it's about Mr. Rosen."
Leon teased, "Mr. Rosen already has a girl he likes."
"Ah... I know he's single, so fine."
Anna lowered her head sadly, like a girl who had been rejected by her crush.
"The girl he likes is you, Anna."
Leon said quickly.
"Well!"
Anna covered her mouth with both hands, then looked upset. "Mr. Leon, I don't really like this kind of joke."
"I'm not kidding, Anna. Do you need my help?"
Leon said with a grin.
"No, please. And how did you know Mr. Rosen's feelings? Can you be sure?"
Anna said shyly.
"Actually, Mr. Rosen was unsure of your feelings, so he asked me to test you."
Leon rambled on.
"Hmm! Is that so? Well, it's not really appropriate for you to just be so honest with me like this."
Anna looked delighted, but she restrained herself with shyness.
"It doesn't matter. Alright, Anna, I'm going to the post station to find Mr. Rosen. He's eagerly awaiting my results."
After saying this, Leon turned and left.
"Mr. Leon, please stop!"
Anna tried to call out to Leon, who had already stepped outside.
Leon didn't stop. Instead, he turned around and gave Anna a reassuring gesture, as if to say, "Don't worry, I'll take care of everything." Then he disappeared in a flash.
"What? How old are you? Mr. Rosen, really."
Even though Leon had been gone for a long time, Anna's face was still burning hot.
Upon returning to the inn, Leon met Rosen, where toasted bread was already laid out on the table.
The bread was filled with green wild vegetables, which Rosen and his men had dug up while gathering firewood.
Leon and Rosen didn't actually have dinner. When they went to Anna's house, Leon lied because he didn't want to trouble Anna. Rosen was a smart man; he saw through Leon's intention but didn't point it out.
The wild vegetables tasted really good, so good that Leon didn't really want to eat them a second time.
After finishing their business, it was still early in the night, and Leon and Rosen went out for a walk along the country lanes.
"Mr. Rosen, do you have plans to settle down?"
Leon got straight to the point.
"None yet."
Rosen answered without hesitation.
"What if my wife was Anna?"
Leon quickly added, "I was chatting with Anna today and found out she likes you!"
"what!"
Rosen was taken aback at first, then his face turned red. After looking around, he made sure no one was around.
"Is this true?"
Rosen looked as if happiness had come too suddenly.
Chapter Fifty-Two: He's Gone Mad
As dawn broke, Leon bid farewell to Rosen and rode back to Guberland.
"Your Highness, the airship is ready and can depart for Izero City at any time, but it cannot go directly to Snow City, as the government there does not allow Imperial airships to enter."
Back at the palace, the accompanying captain was already waiting for Leon in his chambers.
"Okay, I'll leave after I go to my alma mater. Oh, and could you go to the Royal Pharmacy and get some motion sickness medication for me?"
Leon gave his instructions and then hurriedly rode away.
He soon arrived at Guberland University.
Although it has been almost two years since I graduated, the security guards here are still the same group of old acquaintances.
After exchanging a few jokes with the old men, Leon entered the campus through the main gate. There were many students on campus, and unless there were special circumstances, riding horses was not allowed, so Leon walked to the Guberland University Library.
Upon entering the library, Leon didn't queue discreetly this time; instead, he went directly through the VIP entrance to the underground bookstore.
After lingering in front of the rows of bookshelves for a long time, Leon finally found some information about the family of Michaltten.
However, this information was mostly already known to Leon, so it wasn't very useful.
The Guberland University Library is the world's largest library. If the Mitchell-Tertin family cannot be found here, then it is unlikely to be found anywhere else.
But given Leon's understanding of libraries, searching blindly like this was far too inefficient.
Or, why don't you ask the staff? They work here every day, so they're definitely faster at finding information than you are.
Ah, it's a pity there's no internet in this world, otherwise finding books would be so much faster!
Thinking this, Leon looked around and his gaze fell on a young woman in a library uniform who was walking quickly from inside toward the exit.
This girl has a clean and delicate face, a slender figure, a round face, and while her features aren't particularly exquisite, they are very pleasing to the eye.
Leon immediately recalled that he had seen her the last time he was here, but the two had only exchanged a subtle glance.
Extraordinary people have better eyesight than ordinary people, and Leon immediately saw the name written on the name tag swaying on the other person's heaving chest.
"Miss Daisy."
Leon stepped forward and said.
"Your Highness... Leon!"
Daly stopped in her tracks, glanced at Leon, and then lowered her head nervously, not daring to look at him any longer.
"I'd like to look up some information. Could you please help me, Miss Daisy?"
Leon asked politely.
"material?"
After hesitating for a moment, Daisy nodded. "Alright, what information does Your Highness want to find?"
"I want historical materials from the time of Pelish."
Leon replied, "And records about the profession of Demon Blade Master."
"The era of Bessie..."
Daly murmured to herself, then walked toward a stack of bookshelves, with Leon following closely behind.
"Here, is this one alright?"
Daisy stood on tiptoe and took a book from a bookshelf that was taller than her.
The book is titled "The Poetry Collection of Bai Li".
Leon quickly flipped through the pages for a while, then shook his head.
This mainly refers to some folk tales about Bai Lishi, which have very low authenticity and are likely fabricated by the author to provide readers with a sense of satisfaction.
However, the Misturting family is mentioned here. In the story, the Misturting family plays the role of the villain. They only appear as a dim-witted villain when the mysterious Queen Berish needs to show her power in front of others, so that the readers can have some fun.
“Miss Daisy, I want documents with high authenticity, preferably historical records.”
Leon added.
"Ah."
Daisy paused for a moment, then nodded gently.
Knowing that Leon was a good-for-nothing brat, Daly initially thought that Leon had come here to read some of the interesting stories about Bai Lishi.
"Your Highness, since the era of Perri was too far back, the records in this regard are probably few and vague. If you want to know more, you may be able to ask the librarian."
