65. Steve: You can't let me have my fill!
65. Steve: You can't let me have my fill!
Seeing Morren get up again, Daredevil's expression turned serious. He put one hand behind his back and quietly made a hand gesture.
Spider-Man noticed the gesture, which, according to his previous teachings, meant to buy time by running away.
He tensed his legs slightly, ready to pounce; he was a professional runner.
The filthy, smelly aristocratic clothes clung tightly to his body, soaked in sewage, and the large hole in his chest and the garbage embedded in his flesh made Molen look like a vagrant.
He had never been so humiliated, and today he was determined to tear Spider-Man and this man in the tight suit to shreds.
With a slight tug of his leg muscles, Morlen vanished like a ghost, only to reappear in front of Daredevil a moment later, his black fingernails slashing at his face.
Daredevil seemed to be prepared, easily dodging the attack. Immediately afterwards, a black cylindrical object was thrown at Moron's face.
Molen grabbed them and crushed them instantly; these things were useless to him.
The next moment, countless plumes of smoke billowed out from within, obscuring his vision.
When the smoke cleared, Daredevil and Spider-Man had disappeared.
Molun's nostrils flared slightly, his eyes were fixed in one direction, his pupils shrank to the size of pinpoints, and a twisted smile appeared on his face.
In another sewer passage.
"Daredevil, my spider-sense isn't working on that monster," Spider-Man said as he ran.
Daredevil speculated, "He seems to be naturally immune to your spider-sense and has an extreme craving for you, like a vampire craving human blood; he sees you as food."
"What do you mean by 'other Spider-Men'? Are there other mutants with the same abilities as you elsewhere?"
Spider-Man said doubtfully, "I think it's the parallel universe theory. He mentioned other universes when he attacked me last time. He almost killed me then. If it weren't for Ultraman, I would have died young."
"Parallel universes?" Daredevil raised an eyebrow. "So, does that mean you've been eaten up in other parallel universes?"
That monster was so powerful that it was impossible to resist. Its strength, speed, reaction speed, and fighting skills were all incredibly strong, and it also had a strange resurrection ability. It was hard not to think of the worst-case scenario that other Spider-Men in the universe might have encountered.
"Even if we didn't finish it all, it's almost gone," Spider-Man said dejectedly. On the day Uncle Ben was almost hurt, he seemed to hear many of his own lamentations.
Looking back now, perhaps it wasn't a hallucination, but rather the resentment of another version of myself who had died.
"Spider-Man, stop!!!" Daredevil's stern shout was like a thunderclap.
Before his consciousness could even register what was happening, Spider-Man's body had already instinctively stopped.
Molen pounced out from the space beside Spider-Man. If Spider-Man had run a few more steps forward, he would have been tackled to the ground.
Daredevil gritted his teeth, his face grave. In his radar, Moron, who had been behind them, vanished in an instant and reappeared in front of them just as quickly.
"Space travel, is this a dimensional ability?" he cursed inwardly, but his hands moved quickly, throwing a flashbang.
Molen grinned as he looked at the "smoke bomb," knowing he wouldn't fall for the same trick twice.
With a slight swing of his arm, he was about to swat away the "smoke bomb".
boom!
An unexpected explosion rang out, and a blinding white light shone like the sun in the dark sewer.
"ah!!!"
Molen's vision went white, he felt dizzy and his ears were ringing, but thanks to his superhuman recovery ability, he recovered in just a few dozen seconds.
Spider-Man and Daredevil have long since disappeared.
"How could anyone make flashbangs and smoke grenades look the same? That's insidious," Morlen cursed, and began to sense Spider-Man's location.
"Huh? You went back again?"
In his perception, Spider-Man had returned to his original position.
"Peter, your thinking is still too naive."
Molun slowly merged into the space.
Meanwhile, Spider-Man poured another bottle of stun spray into the mouth of the slumbering Lizard, then said, "Daredevil, you're so smart. That monster will never expect us to come back now."
Daredevil shook his head and said, "It's not that I'm smart, I just suspect that monster has some way of tracking you, and he'll be here soon."
"Huh?" Spider-Man looked up, looking confused. "Then why did we come back?"
Daredevil looked into the deep, dark passage, and Spider-Man followed suit.
Step...step...step...
The sound of steady footsteps approached from afar.
A figure wearing a white short-sleeved shirt, with a faint glow emanating from its body, and holding a five-pointed star shield, slowly emerged from the darkness.
"Mr. Rogers!" Spider-Man exclaimed. If it was Steve, then that monster was nothing. Only he knew how strong Steve really was.
That suffocating feeling of being completely powerless to fight back is despairing.
"Didn't you already take care of it?" Steve asked, glancing at the lizardman sprawled on the ground.
"No, no, it's another one..."
No sooner had Daredevil finished speaking than a whooshing sound filled the air.
The stinking Moron lunged at Steve, who had his back to him, and he could almost imagine the feeling of his nails digging into flesh.
boom!
To everyone's surprise, Steve suddenly turned around and casually slapped Morren away with his shield.
He slammed his fist against the wall, causing it to shatter and spit out a mouthful of blood.
"This is the opponent you can't handle? He doesn't seem... that difficult to deal with." Steve glanced at the two people beside him and said in a serious tone.
Daredevil and Spider-Man were speechless. Where could they find an explanation? Who knew how fierce you were?
Molen struggled to pull himself off the wall, staring with a sinister look at the figure holding a shield not far away. He was speechless. How come there are so many people helping Spider-Man in this universe?
At that moment, Steve finally saw Morren in full. His brow furrowed even deeper, and he asked in confusion, "A vampire?"
Steve tossed the shield to Spider-Man, then rubbed his fists. He'd been holding back for a long time, and now he could finally let loose.
Spider-Man instinctively took a few steps back, and I whispered, "Daredevil, let's step back a bit. I have a feeling Steve isn't in a good mood right now."
Daredevil agreed wholeheartedly and took a few steps back.
Molen stood up, and a clearly visible fluctuation appeared around his palm. A beam of energy, carrying high temperature, rushed towards Steve.
Steve stood still, made a clenched fist in the air, and a blurry, phantom hand seemed to appear in the air.
The illusory palm pressed down, extinguishing the energy beam in one fell swoop.
Immediately afterwards, an irresistible force acted on Moron, lifting him high into the air with horror in his eyes.
"What kind of universe is this? How can there be superhumans of this level?"
The only response he received was the ever-increasing pressure he felt.
"No, we have to escape!"
Molen hurriedly communicated with the Web of Life, preparing to escape back to the original universe.
Suddenly, a barely perceptible light flashed in the air, and his thoughts froze.
Steve shook the motionless Moron, looking at Spider-Man with disappointment in his eyes: "Peter, what is this thing? It gives me a very strange feeling."
Spider-Man shrank back and said, "How about we go ask Mr. Stark?"
