Chapter 28 Transformation Lesson
Chapter 28 Transformation Lesson
Landric didn't sleep very well last night. He did fall asleep, but it wasn't very restful.
Being woken up early again this morning, Landric really finds it hard to give anyone a pleasant look.
Draco had to be very careful with his words, saying things like, "Brother, we need to hurry up..." He never mentioned going back to his own bed to sleep.
"Shut up!" Landric's veins bulged on his forehead.
"...Okay."
Draco's eyes weren't meant for venting his anger; he was perceptive and pragmatic, and immediately chose to go over and help Landric pack up.
Regardless, Draco's actions were somewhat to Landric's liking, and his expression was much better than before.
"Did you find out the location of every classroom at Hogwarts beforehand?"
"Of course, bro. Gore and Crabbe can't be completely useless with me around, can they?"
"Don't be too harsh on them, Xiaolong."
Draco was overjoyed at the call of "Little Dragon." Even though he didn't really care about Landric's advice to treat his two little followers well, he still obediently agreed, "I'll listen to you, brother."
The two finally prepared everything they needed for class today. When they opened the door, they found that Gore and Crabbe had been waiting outside for a while.
Landric frowned slightly. "Sorry, Crabbe, Goyle, you've been waiting."
Draco couldn't stand Landric apologizing to others. In his mind, how could his brother be wrong? It must be that others were just being tactless.
He glared menacingly at Gore and his companion from behind Landric.
Gore and Crabbe jumped in surprise. "N-nothing, we didn't wait long."
Landric had already guessed Draco's little scheme behind his back, and sighed slightly. Goyle and Crabbe were, after all, Lucius's henchmen for Draco, and he had no right to say anything.
"Let's go, stop dawdling, no one's happy if we're late."
The three little ones immediately followed Landric obediently, afraid of upsetting him.
……
The group of four was indeed eye-catching, and along the way, Slytherin members kept greeting them, which Landric returned with smiles.
The four of them entered the classroom and found a few seats that were neither too far forward nor too far back. Landric placed his copy of "The Beginner's Guide to Metamorphosis" on the table.
While seemingly flipping through the pages slowly, he was actually recalling the scene from the first metamorphosis lesson in the original work.
If Landric remembers correctly, Professor McGonagall, who taught them Transfiguration, appears to be an Animagus on the Ministry of Magic's records.
Combined with the orange cat that Landric saw as soon as he entered the classroom.
Landric quietly reminded Draco, "That cat on the podium is Professor McGonagall."
Draco looked at the cat with surprise for a few moments, then looked away with little interest.
"Not as beautiful as the white peacocks at Malfoy Manor."
Landric did not continue speaking.
Class time was approaching, and the other students gradually arrived at the classroom.
What was unusual was that Ron and Harry were panting heavily during class, and Ron even had a moment of wishful thinking, believing that Professor McGonagall hadn't arrived yet.
Until the cat on the podium jumped off and, in full view of everyone, transformed into Professor McGonagall.
Ron stammered, "We got lost on the spiral staircase, Professor McGonagall."
Draco didn't hold back in his taunts, "A good show with Potney and the penniless Weasley, huh?"
"Perhaps I could turn you into pocket watches and maps?"
Professor McGonagall was always tolerant and allowed them into the classroom. She glanced around the classroom, and once all the students were present, she began her lesson.
The sight of a lectern turning into a pig stunned all the students, including Landric. He had read about it in books, but nothing could compare to the shock of seeing it with his own eyes.
Landric developed an extremely strong thirst for knowledge about Transfiguration, his violet eyes fixed intently on Professor McGonagall.
"The task for this lesson is to turn a match into a needle."
Landric looked at the matchstick that had been handed to him, his mind racing. He raised his wand slightly, and a flawless, exquisitely carved needle appeared.
Professor McGonagall noticed Landric almost instantly.
"Mr. Rozier, could you demonstrate again?"
"Okay, sure."
Landric's wand glowed once more, and a second needle immediately appeared on the table.
"Slytherin, ten points for Mr. Rosier's perfect demonstration. I must admit, Mr. Rosier, you have a great talent for Transfiguration. If you wish to learn Transfiguration, please feel free to contact me anytime."
"Thank you, Professor. I will."
Landric nodded slightly to indicate that he understood and thanked Professor McGonagall.
At this moment, Landric was filled with emotion. He finally understood why so many people in his previous life had such a fondness for Professor McGonagall.
This professor not only possesses extraordinary patience, but is also knowledgeable and experienced. No matter how complex or difficult the magical theories and techniques are, he can explain them clearly in a simple and easy-to-understand way.
How could one not admire and respect such an outstanding teacher?
Draco cheered almost instantly, even looking at Harry and Ron provocatively.
"Hey, I really don't know what Malfoy has to be so proud of. He didn't conjure it up, so what does it have to do with him?" Ron glared at Draco.
"Um, Ron, maybe it's somewhat related."
"What? What does that have to do with anything? It's not like Malfoy helped that Slytherin conjure it up."
"That being said, Landric is, after all, Malfoy's brother, so perhaps Malfoy is just proud of his family."
"Hmph, I think you're just blinded by Landric Rozier's beauty," Ron retorted, still unconvinced. "If I had a good wand, maybe I could do that too."
Draco curled his lip in disdain. "Well, that poor Weasley really dares to dream anything. Even if you had the best wand, you still wouldn't succeed. Not everyone has that kind of talent."
"You! What are you being so arrogant about! Did you conjure it up and that's why you're so arrogant?"
Seeing that the undercurrents were about to attract Professor McGonagall's attention, Landric interrupted their argument.
"Draco, look!"
Landric raised a silver needle engraved with an oriental five-clawed dragon, instantly drawing all of Draco's attention.
"Bro, what's that? A snake? It doesn't look like one, but it's so cool!"
"The dragon, the divine dragon of the East"
"Is this what the dragon of the East looks like?"
A hint of nostalgia flickered in Landric's eyes. "Hmm, do you like it?"
"Of course, who wouldn't love such a majestic creature!"
Landric successfully diverted the topic, and the lesson was generally well-behaved.
The only one who caught Landric's attention was a Gryffindor witch who was unusually active and quite talented.
Landric's eyes flickered. Was her name Granger?
