Chapter 381, Project Two
Karkaroff and Durmstrang's nearly capsized ship didn't cause much of a stir at Hogwarts. Apart from Krum's mindless worshippers, most people just treated it as a joke, and by the afternoon, no one was talking about it anymore.
In the common room that evening, Siren was holding a bottle, occasionally pouring out potions and applying them to his arms and knees.
Harry and Ron are playing wizard chess next to them.
"He must have just lost a game," Harry said, turning to Siron as he tidied up the chessboard. "He asked:"
"By the way, aren't you going to have special training with Hagrid today?"
"No need," Xiren shook his head. "To be precise, the training is over."
"How did it go?" Ron asked hurriedly. "Have you solved the problem in the second project?"
"I guess so." Xilen thought for a moment, then added, "If it can come back to life—"
"Come back to life?" Harry blinked, not quite understanding what that meant.
"Anyway, it's all settled." Xilun forced a smile.
Seeing that he didn't seem keen on bringing up the special training, Harry and Ron didn't press the matter further.
Around 10 p.m., they prepared to go back to their dormitory to sleep.
"Don't forget your school uniforms," Siren said, handing the two of them the school uniform robes that were draped over the back of the chairs.
"Oh, thank you."
"You're welcome."

By Monday, Hogwarts was in the same situation as it had been two months earlier, with excitement and anticipation filling the entire castle.
Moreover, this sentiment quickly affected the professors as well.
During a class on protecting magical creatures, Hagrid secretly pulled Siron aside and asked if he needed any further help. "Fulville hasn't had much to do lately," he said. "I've cleaned up the area where you drew the pattern last time. You can go there anytime. I'll also have Fulville wait there during the competition."
"No need, Hagrid," Celen said, shaking his head. "You know I've already succeeded."
"Well, I guess so." Hagrid looked a little conflicted. "But it's always good to be prepared."
"Really, no need," Celen said with a smile. "The second event is in the lake. Even if Lou Williams were twice his size, it wouldn't be of much help. Just relax and watch the game."
Hearing what Siren said, Hagrid gave up the idea of bringing Cerberus along.
Next was the Transfiguration class. When the get out of class ended, Professor McGonagall said that she had been available recently and anyone who needed to ask her a question could come to her office at any time.
She also sent a special magazine to Siron through Cedric Diggory.
It was a book called "Today's Metamorphosis," but most of the original content had been cut out and replaced with other content.
Xilun glanced at the posts and found that they were all related to human deformities.
"This was given out in the advanced Transfiguration class yesterday," Cedric explained. "Professor McGonagall said that many of the Triwizard Tournament champions have transformed themselves into animals in the project, so I thought you might be able to use it."
"However, human transformation is very dangerous. If you have any ideas, you'd better go to Professor McGonagall for help first. She certainly won't refuse."
"Thank you, I will." Xiren nodded.
"It's alright," Cedric waved his hand. "After all, you represent Hogwarts. Good luck."
That's not all; the matter isn't over yet.
On Friday, the day before the second project, Snape spoke suddenly before everyone left the classroom as the last Potions class ended.
"Hopefully, some of the brave warriors will be able to complete the project smoothly tomorrow. If they feel they are not capable enough, perhaps they can consult the great Slytherin."
The Slytherin students burst into laughter, while the Gryffindors glared angrily at Snape.
He was clearly targeting Siron, but Snape was a professor, and there was nothing they could do but stare helplessly.
"Don't take that old bat's words to heart, Sheren," Ron said angrily after leaving the underground classroom. "He's just jealous of you, jealous that a Hogwarts champion is a Gryffindor, not a Slytherin."
"Don't worry, I know," Siron said, but he felt something was off. Logically, Snape had no reason to say such things. After all, although he was usually mean, it was mostly directed at Harry, and he just didn't like the other Gryffindors.
Moreover, since Siren now represents Hogwarts, he has even less reason to make sarcastic remarks.
And that line—"If you're at your wit's end, you can seek help from Slytherin"—is he implying that he can ask Slytherin for help?
Xilun abruptly stopped in his tracks.
But he quickly shook his head and continued walking forward.
That's Snape, I must be overthinking it.
The next day, a rare sunny day.
Since leaving his dormitory in the morning, Xilun felt that everyone he passed was staring at him. Whenever he walked through a corridor, he could hear cheers from people on both sides.
During breakfast, Harry, Hermione, and Ron were so busy stuffing sausages, sandwiches, and fried eggs onto Siron's plate that they barely ate anything themselves.
Soon, a small mountain had formed on Xilun's plate. It was truly remarkable that they could pile the food so high.
After breakfast, everyone began to leave the auditorium one after another.
This time, the warriors weren't called away beforehand; instead, they came out with everyone to the sunny, cold field.
Two months ago, the seats around the Fire Dragon Enclosure were now arranged in layers along the lake. Professor McGonagall stood beside them, directing the students to line up and take their seats.
"The warriors are on the other side," Professor McGonagall said, pointing to a table covered with a gold tablecloth on the opposite shore of the lake.
Dumbledore and Ludo Bagman were already seated there, presumably at the referee's table. Not far away, Karkaroff and Maxim were leading their respective warriors toward them.
"Do you want to go now, or wait a little longer?" Professor McGonagall asked.
"Go now," Siren said.
"Keep it up." Ha patted his arm vigorously.
"You'll be fine."
"Let's teach Beauxbatons and Durmstrang a lesson."
Hermione and Ron also spoke, and all three of them expressed their sincerest blessings to him. The three of them?
Xilun suddenly looked at them.
No wonder he felt something was wrong; it turned out there were too many people. Logically, shouldn't one of them be waiting for him to rescue them at the bottom of the lake?
Why are all three of us here now?
