Chapter 112 Blade Tango
Chapter 112 Blade Tango
The instant the enemy attacked, all Yin Vector saw was a dark golden blade of light cleaving through the alley.
Heavy and fast.
The double-edged greatsword was clearly broad enough to smash through armor, yet it moved with the slightest hesitation in his hands. The blade cleaved down, as if an entire wall were collapsing towards her.
The vector immediately raised its hand.
A blue-green light suddenly emanated from between the lines of her body, and an invisible force pressed down on the heavy sword of the Sky Enemy in an instant.
The blade's momentum did indeed pause for a moment.
But immediately, the shoulder armor of the Sky Enemy sank slightly, and the center of gravity shifted at the waist. The heavy sword that was being held down by magnetic attraction actually slashed out diagonally in the direction of the force, cutting out a new trajectory from the angle that had been suppressed.
With his jaw clenched, the bastard knew how to continue his killing intent even when under pressure.
She retreated to the side, the blade grazing her visor before crashing into the wall behind her.
With a loud bang, a wide gash was slashed open in the metal wall.
Before he could sheathe his sword, the energy blade on his left arm shone brightly, and he bent down to slash at the wrist holding the sword.
With a flick of his wrist, Yutiandi sent the broad blade of his greatsword crashing down, directly blocking her energy blade.
The two blades collided, and the light exploded.
Her arms went numb from the shock, and she used the force to slide back half a step. At the same time, she raised her right hand, and the magnetic force pulled the broken metal pieces on the ground.
Dozens of fragments bounced off the ground, like a rain of reversed flight, shooting towards the enemy's faceplate and joint gaps.
Yutiandi held his sword in one hand and raised the other, creating a light golden defensive field between his shoulder armor and breastplate.
The fragments collided with it and bounced off one by one.
"You use the environment very quickly," Sentinel Prime commented.
"Thank you?" the vector said coldly. "I'll write you a thank-you note after you die."
Before she could finish speaking, her body suddenly folded up, her base gripped the ground, and her vehicle form spun rapidly, scraping against the walls of the narrow alley.
The Heavenly Enemy's heavy sword swept across.
She hurtled past just below the blade, almost sparking from the metal armor.
Immediately afterwards, she transformed back into robot form behind him, her left arm energy blade slicing along his knee joint.
It's fast, accurate, and ruthless; once it hits, he'll lose his balance for a split second.
But the enemy of the heavens had already heard the voice from her deformed structure.
He didn't turn around, but slammed the end of his heavy sword backward.
It hit her right on the side of her shoulder.
The entire machine was thrown off course by the impact, and the energy blade grazed his kneecap, leaving only a faint spark.
She gritted her teeth and rolled over, the magnetic force pulling her to the wall beside her and forcibly pulling her away.
The heavy sword struck the spot where she had just been—the ground caved in, and rubble flew everywhere.
"You rely too much on your ability to correct your position," Sentinel Prime said. "It's useful, but it's easy to read."
"You're lecturing while you're fighting?" The vector force steadied itself, the spark cycle already heating up. "Is this how you educate the younger generation during the golden age?"
Sentinel Prime looked at her, his eyes devoid of warmth: "The younger generation of the Golden Age at least knows to respect the battlefield."
"Oh." Vector sneered. "Are you talking about your era? The Sentinel Prime from the archives who stood up with Cybertron?"
Yu Tiandi paused slightly in his grip on the heavy sword.
Vector noticed, and she continued, "I've looked you up. Strongest warrior, rebel, hero, banner—it all sounds like a beautiful title."
Sentinel Prime's voice deepened: "You've read a few files and think you understand the Golden Age?"
"I don't understand." The Graviton Vector admitted quickly, "I just don't understand why a machine that once led Cybertron forward has ended up like this."
Yutiandi raised his heavy sword, and the next strike was even heavier than before.
The magnetic force immediately pressed down on the sword's edge, causing the entire machine to tumble to the side. The blade grazed her back armor as it struck, sending metal fragments flying.
She used the momentum to spring up, and her left arm energy blade slashed across the side of Yutiandi's waist.
Yutiandi turned around, his greatsword flashing back in defense with one hand, its broad blade gripping her edge, while his other hand reached for her neck.
The vector pupil contracted, and the magnetic attraction exploded between the two machines.
Both retreated simultaneously.
Yutiandi only took one step back.
She took three steps back, her back slamming against the wall on the other side, causing her shoulder blade to ache terribly.
"I led an uprising," Sentinel Prime finally spoke.
His voice was no longer just businesslike calm; it carried something older and sharper—the pride of a warrior, and the arrogance that had been wrapped up in that pride for too long.
"I rescued Cybertron from the midst of war."
The vector lifted the optical lens, and the Sky Enemy approached step by step, the dark golden blade of the greatsword leaving a long shadow on the ground.
"I drove away the Five-Faced Monster."
She knew the name "Five-Faced Monster".
The archives mention foreign invasion, and the name appears in some incomplete records. Somewhere in the depths of memory, there is a voice that utters this name, but much of the content is sealed away, vague, and deliberately buried under the old history.
Now Sentinel Prime has said it himself.
The words that fell from his lips were like a medal, or perhaps an old knife he had long ago used to prove that he was qualified to look down on all machines.
The energy blade, still held horizontally by the vector, asked, "So?"
Yutiandi looked at her.
"You drive them away, and then you can stand atop all the planes and decide for them who is qualified to learn and who is qualified to speak?"
Sentinel Prime's optical glasses coldly replied, "You have no right to comment on that war."
"I'm evaluating you as you are now!"
With a flick of his wrist, the magnetic force pulled the broken pipeline above the tunnel, forcibly tearing down the entire metal beam and slamming it down on the head of the enemy.
Yutiandi gripped his sword with both hands and slashed upwards with the heavy sword.
The massive metal beam was cleaved in two, the two halves crashing down beside him, instantly engulfing the alleyway in dust and metal debris.
Before the field of vision could become clear, the vectoring vector transformed directly into a vehicle and rushed into the smoke and dust.
The optical lens of Sentinel Prime shone brightly in the dust and fog.
The next second, the greatsword swept horizontally from the side.
Forced by the vector, the robot form appeared in mid-air, its body flipping over along the blade's edge. She gripped the wall edge with her right hand, while her left arm's energy blade pierced straight down from above, aiming for the shoulder-neck junction of the enemy.
This time, it hit.
The bluish-green blade sliced into the outer armor, leaving a deep wound.
Yutiandi finally let out a muffled groan.
But he did not retreat.
Instead, he used his shoulder armor to push upwards, forcefully squeezing her energy blade away from the wound, while the hilt of his greatsword slammed heavily into her abdomen.
The entire vectoring machine was thrown out, crashing through half of an old pipe and falling deep into the alley.
Three system alerts popped up in a row.
[Damage to the outer armor of the abdomen.]
The energy cycle is unstable.
[Abnormal fluctuations in magnetic gravitational output.]
She pushed herself up from the ground, and as soon as she looked up, Yutiandi had already emerged from the dust.
The wound on his shoulder, which she had cut open, was oozing tiny amounts of energy fluid, but his movements were not greatly affected.
"Not bad," he said.
"You praised me after I killed you." Vector wiped the energy liquid that had spilled from the corner of his mouth. "Are all warriors from your Golden Age this polite?"
"I'm just confirming your upper limit."
"Is everything confirmed?"
"not yet."
Yutian Di's heavy sword trembled, and fragments were flung off its blade: "But it's already certain that you won't last much longer."
She knew she was in a bad state.
Each forced burst of magnetic gravity forcibly extracts energy from the ignition chamber.
All the emotional shocks, fatigue, and exhaustion that had accumulated before today became rivets holding her back at this moment.
But she couldn't stop; she didn't want to die here.
She suddenly raised her hand, and the magnetic force spread across the ground.
The broken metal, broken pipes, and wall rivets in the entire maintenance alley vibrated simultaneously.
Yu Tiandi's eyes flickered, and in an instant, all the fragments converged on him from all directions.
She compressed it sharply, intending to use the metal of the entire alley to lock him in place.
The ground beneath Yutian Enemy's feet sank an inch under the pressure, and his shoulder armor finally made a creaking sound as it bore the weight.
effective.
The vector clenched its teeth and continued to apply force.
The temperature near the ignition chamber rose rapidly, and a slight snow noise began to appear at the edge of the optical mirror.
Sentinel was pinned to the center, his greatsword slanted into the ground, his hands gripping the hilt, forcefully resisting the metal converging from all directions.
He looked up at her: "Is this how you amended the treaty?"
The gravitational field lines of the frontal angular magnetogravity were blindingly bright: "You still want to talk about work before you die?"
"They're putting pressure on everything from the inside out," said Yutiandi. "They're leaving no room for maneuver, no room for buffer, thinking that this will turn chaos into order."
"What's wrong?"
I call that childish.
As soon as he finished speaking, he suddenly released one hand, and the heavy sword was pressed into the ground, but it did not fall.
Yutiandi gripped the hilt with one hand, and suddenly plunged the other hand between the metal fragments that were being pressed down beside him.
Using the large optical lens, he directly used his arm as a fulcrum to forcibly change the force structure of the compressive force.
He pulled the greatsword from the ground, its dark golden blade flashing upwards, tearing a gash in the metal mesh compressed by magnetic attraction.
The enemy rushed out of that opening.
The vector immediately retreated, but it was already too late.
The back of the heavy sword struck her left arm.
A sharp pain exploded.
Her left arm energy blade became unstable, and her entire arm almost lost sensation.
She gritted her teeth, used the impact to flip herself over, briefly deformed her vehicle mode, and spun rapidly against the wall, forcibly avoiding Sentinel Prime's second attack.
Before the transformation was fully completed, she re-entered robot form.
He grabbed a broken section of the tube with his right hand, channeled magnetic force into it, and used it as a makeshift spear to stab at the enemy's faceplate.
Sentinel Prime dodged to the side, the broken tube grazing the side of his visor and sending sparks flying.
She released her grip, and the severed tube exploded behind him, the fragments piercing his back armor in the opposite direction.
Sentinel Prime was finally forced to turn around and defend.
Taking advantage of the opportunity, the vector created distance, its left arm trembled, and the energy blade re-condensed twice before stabilizing.
She was breathing heavily. Cybertronians don't need to breathe, but she still felt like she couldn't catch her breath.
Yutiandi looked at her left arm, which was trembling very slightly: "Your damage output is starting to become unstable."
The vector replied: "You're starting to talk too much nonsense."
"I told you, you wouldn't last long."
"You old codger haven't even broken down yet, why can't I?"
Yutiandi's eyes turned cold, and he attacked again, no longer giving her a chance to create distance.
He swept the greatsword horizontally with one hand, forcing her to duck and dodge; the next second, he pressed down with both hands, blocking the path she was about to use magnetic attraction to bounce away.
The vector was forced to roll to the side, and the shoulder armor grazed the ground.
Yutian Di pressed forward, his heavy sword blade slicing horizontally along the ground, aiming to cut off her leg movement.
She suddenly transformed again.
The vehicle glided halfway along the ground before transforming back into robot mode as Blade caught up. It then stomped on the wall with its right leg, causing the entire machine to flip over.
She swooped down from above, her left arm energy blade aimed directly at the Sky Enemy Optical Mirror.
This move was both dangerous and swift.
Yutiandi looked up, didn't dodge, but simply held his heavy sword upright, the broad blade acting like a shield to block her falling path.
The energy blade of the vector collided with the greatsword, and with a forceful pull of both hands, the greatsword slammed her down from mid-air.
She crashed into the ground, and the system alarm in front of her turned bright red.
Immediately following, Sky Enemy's foot stepped on the ground next to her left shoulder, and the tip of his greatsword pressed against the side of her neck.
We were just a hair's breadth away from making a breakthrough.
The vector lay in the shattered ground, the optical mirror momentarily lost focus, and then forcibly focused back.
Sentinel looked down at her: "You are indeed special."
The vector moved its left hand slightly.
"Being special does not equal being mature."
He pressed his greatsword down slightly, the blade grazing the outer armor beside her neck: "The battlefield will teach you this difference."
Suddenly, the vector chuckled, its voice soft and hoarse.
Yutiandi looked at her: "What are you laughing at?"
"I'm laughing at you." Her glasses lit up again. "After living all this time, you still like to use the battlefield to glorify yourself."
Yutiandi's face was gloomy.
The gravitational vector gripped the ground with its right hand, and the magnetic force pulled it downwards.
The metal ground beneath Yutiandi's feet collapsed instantly, and his center of gravity was finally pulled off course.
In that instant, the energy blade on the left arm of the vector vector lit up again, flicking upwards along the blade of the heavy sword, the edge grazing his breastplate.
Yutiandi took a half step back.
It wasn't deep, but it left a noticeable scar on his chest.
Taking advantage of the opportunity, the vector flipped over and rolled away, half-kneeling on the ground, the whole machine was shaking.
Yutiandi glanced down at the wound on his chest but didn't speak immediately.
The light in the alleyway flickered.
Yutiandi slowly raised his eyes.
The last vestige of his official composure vanished completely from his mask, revealing true killing intent in his optical glasses.
It's troublesome that no longer being the highest-ranking representative.
At this moment, the strongest warrior looked at the enemy he had to kill.
"Very well." He gripped his heavy sword tighter. "Then there's no need to hold back."
He propped himself up on his knees, his left arm energy blade flickered briefly, then stabilized again.
Her fire cycle was in terrible disarray, and the magnetic attraction module was constantly alarming.
But she still looked up, her blue-green optical glasses locking onto Sentinel Prime.
"It should have been done a long time ago."
The Heavenly Enemy's heavy sword slashed down again.
There was absolutely nothing left to hold back.
