Chapter 65 Zombie World - 10

As Vega approached the throne, a long-accumulated, extremely unpleasant stench of alcohol made him stop in his tracks.

Vega covered his mouth and nose in disgust. It stank so bad. How long has it been since Thor took a bath?

At the same time, Vega understood why Thor was unmoved; it turned out the guy was drunk.

If they hadn't come, would Thor have turned into a zombie in his sleep and unknowingly become Wanda's puppet along with all his people?

Valkyrie, coughing up blood, walked over and asked Vega hopefully, "Cough, is there any hope for them?"

Valkyrie: "Your Majesty, the Scarlet Witch is a zombie! The food she feeds us is zombie flesh!!!"

"Wh-what?" Thor was bewildered. The sounds of fighting and vomiting reached his ears. He looked up and saw tables of severed limbs, eyeballs and internal organs, and his people kneeling on the ground, desperately vomiting.

It took his alcohol-numbed brain a few seconds to realize what these images meant. Thor's pupils dilated instantly, his features began to contort, and his body began to tremble violently. "It's over!" This thought filled his entire mind.

"King, King! There's still hope for everyone, there's still hope!!!" Seeing Thor's reaction, Valkyrie realized he was terrified and hurriedly explained.

Unfortunately, Thor, completely consumed by regret and pain, could hear nothing.

Valkyrie, having explained several times to no avail, gritted her teeth, hardened her heart, and raised her right hand to slap Thor's intact right cheek.

With a sharp crack, the searing pain finally brought Thor back to his senses.

Valkyrie: "My lord, everyone is alright! Someone has saved you!"

Thor was overjoyed. He jumped to his feet, grabbed Valkyrie's clothes, and asked urgently, "R-really?"

“It’s true,” Vega said, and when Thor’s gaze turned to him, he introduced himself: “I’m a healer, and I guarantee no one will turn into a zombie.”

"Really?" Thor, still greatly shocked, didn't believe it. Vega looked at Blade beside him and said, "Kongsu can be my witness."

The large bird's head reappeared. It nodded its head up and down and said in a deep voice, "Yes, I can testify. Don't worry about your people. I think you should be looking over there."

Thor naturally recognized Kong Su, and seeing that he had made a guarantee, his heart, which had been in his throat, immediately relaxed. Then he immediately realized that his whole body was soaked with sweat.

Without a second thought, he looked in the direction of the fighting and saw the three men locked in a fierce battle.

He didn't recognize Captain Marvel, but he had seen Igris when he was a child. Could the zombie fighting the two of them, with its grayish-white, shriveled skin, wearing a red dress, and using the power of chaos, be Wanda?

How did she become like this?!

"King, stop standing there! Go help!" Valkyrie urged. They were gods; how could they stand here and watch their helpers fight their enemies alone?

"Oh, oh." Thor casually agreed, releasing Valkyrie and turning around. Just as his left foot left the ground, he suddenly fell to the ground.

"Your Majesty!" Valkyrie hurriedly bent down to help him up. Vega's lips twitched involuntarily, while Konso chuckled mockingly, "Oh, look at this! This is the king of the Aesir, a spineless king who can't even stand properly!"

Thor fell down partly because he was still drunk, but mostly because he was terrified that all his people were going to turn into zombies.

Kong Su's mocking laughter truly brought him to his senses. The anger of being ridiculed and the fact that his people had almost been wiped out surged into his heart. Pure white lightning burst forth from his eyes and covered his entire body. With a powerful push off the ground, he roared and charged toward the battlefield not far away.

Bang!Bang!Bang!

"Don't cause trouble!"

As Igris and Captain Marvel roared, Vega and the others all closed their eyes.

It's unbearable to watch! Thor, charging forward, was grabbed by Wanda using the power of chaos and used as a flail to repeatedly smash Igrith and Captain Marvel...

After taking a few hits, Igor and Captain Marvel seized the opportunity to launch an energy attack on Wanda simultaneously. Unable to pull Thor to her side to shield her from the attack, Wanda regretfully let go of him and took the hits herself.

"Ah~!" Thor fell to the ground. He was furious that he had been used as a flail because he had held back out of consideration for their relationship. He quickly got up and roared as he unleashed a terrifying bolt of lightning at Wanda with both hands.

"Ughhhhhh!!!" As lightning struck, Wanda, who was defending herself, let out a shrill scream. The chaotic power that she was using to resist weakened immediately, and the energy attacks from Captain Marvel and the other person hit her in the next moment.

"Ah~!!!" Three powerful energies raged through her body, causing Wanda even more pain. At the same time, she was slammed against the wall by these three forces and was constantly being squeezed into the wall.

One second, two seconds, three seconds...

After a dozen seconds, hearing Wanda's heart-wrenching screams, Thor's heart softened, and he subconsciously reduced the power of the lightning.

Vega stepped forward and used his abilities to move the rubble aside. Wanda, lying on the ground, covered in blood but still alive, reappeared before everyone.
