Ultraman: What do you mean by saying L77 is about to explode?

Chapter 92 The Ruler of Darkness, the Evil God Gatanothor

Chapter 92 The Ruler of Darkness, the Evil God Gatanothor

When Tiga, Dark Daga, and Kaul, standing atop the Flame Gorba Rock, crossed the ocean churning with giant waves and arrived at the deepest part of the R'lyeh Sea, the scene before them could no longer be described as a disaster.

This place is now a desolate wasteland.

Before this, this place was home to the ruins of an incredibly magnificent ancient city and garrison, now half of which is submerged at the bottom of the sea and the other half exposed on the surface.

In the very center of the ocean ruins, the source that plunged the entire Earth into absolute darkness finally revealed its true form once again before everyone's eyes.

That is a monster that is enormous even for Ultraman. Currently, on Earth, it represents darkness and despair.

Its shape resembles an inverted giant conch shell, with countless holes covering its carapace. Beneath the carapace, there is no body in the conventional sense, only countless thick tentacles with barbs, and a pair of huge pincers.

Beneath that carapace, an upside-down face and two pairs of red eyes were staring at the three beings who wanted to defeat him.

Gatanothor, the ruler of darkness and the god of evil.

"This is... the source of all our disasters... but I never thought I'd see this guy again..." Tiga hovered in mid-air. Even though he had fought countless battles on Earth, he was still very wary of this evil god whose mere existence could cover the entire planet. After all, they had defeated him together last time.

"It still looks like a giant snail... I thought it would become stronger and no longer look like this giant snail." Dark Daga sneered. Although he was somewhat sarcastic, his tense nerves and slightly lowered center of gravity had already revealed his inner vigilance.

As a giant who had just absorbed a massive amount of dark energy, he sensed more clearly than Tiga and Kaul that the power contained within Gatanothor was incomparable to the dark giants they had faced before, and was even more powerful than when they first defeated him.

It was something that could bring pure despair.

Kaul stood atop Little Rock's head, the Reonics Battle Device in his hand vibrating wildly, the warlike genes of the Reiblood aliens burning in his blood.

"Everyone be on your guard!" Kaul shouted a warning. "Its carapace is impervious to ordinary physical attacks and light beams. Watch out for its tentacles and pincers; whatever you do, don't get dragged into the sea!"

Gatanothor seemed to sense the hostility of its prey. Instead of roaring like a normal monster, it emitted a sound wave that resembled a mixture of an elephant's bellow and an air raid siren.

"Strike first!" Tiga shouted, crossing his hands over his forehead and switching directly to the Power Type, which would be even stronger.

Against a heavily armored monster of this level, any probing is pointless; we must go all out from the very beginning!

When they first arrived on Earth, they faced Gatanothor. Back then, tens of thousands of giants of light defeated him and sealed him away. But now... the giants have all fallen apart and don't even have the power to fight against the Dark Familiars, so they had no choice but to send the three of them to R'lyeh.

Dirashum Light Stream!

Tiga gathered high-density, ultra-high-heat light energy in front of his chest, forming a red ball of light. Then, he pushed his arms forward with force, sending a red beam of light powerful enough to shatter a mountain straight towards Gatanothor's face.

"Let me add some spice to it!" Dark Daga spread his arms, and the originally dense black mist around him was forcibly pulled over and gathered between his palms.

Dark Zeperion Ray!

The dark purple destructive beam and Tiga's red light stream converged in mid-air. The two extreme forces, one bright and one dark, achieved perfect synchronization at this moment, spiraling and intertwining as they bombarded Gatanothor's giant conch shell.

The violent explosion created a black tsunami hundreds of meters high on the sea, and the flames even briefly dispelled the black fog above R'lyeh.

"Little Rock, now's the time! Let's fire our beams too!" Kaul gripped the combat device tightly with both hands, achieving a state of perfect unity with it.

Xiao Yan opened his mouth, and light burst forth from the magma patterns on his forehead, eyes, and even chest.

The ultrasonic destructive beam merged with Melba's eye laser, transforming into a thick golden lightning bolt that followed Tiga and Daga's attacks, striking the two targets.

This is the full-force attack from the three most powerful combatants on Earth who are currently able to come!

Even the water vapor rising from the sea surface was from the evaporation of light, as well as from the sparks that erupted from Gatanothor's body.

Tiga and Daga were panting heavily, staring at the boiling mist. Their strength was almost exhausted. Even with the support of the others, they could not continue fighting indefinitely.

"Did it break through?" Daga's Ultra Eye looked through the smoke.

However, when Gatanothor's breath dispelled the fog, everyone's hearts sank to the bottom.

Gatanothor still lay on the ruins in the sea. Apart from a scorch mark left by the high temperature, there was not even a crack on its shell!

"This is impossible!" Tiga clenched his fists in shock.

The attack that combined the power of the three of them would have absolutely obliterated even Karfa, who had absorbed the darkness of hundreds of giants.

"Is it really that hard to take down..." Kaul gritted his teeth. He knew that Gatanothor's defense was amazing, but seeing it withstand three deadly attacks without a scratch filled him with a sense of despair that was even greater than when he was in L77.

Gatanothor let out another hiss, and then the seawater churned, and hundreds of tentacles burst out of the water, heading towards the three people in mid-air.

"Scatter immediately!"

Tiga quickly switched to his purple-blue aerial form, narrowly avoiding the strangulation of more than a dozen tentacles in mid-air.

Dark Daga became even more ferocious, a black lightsaber appearing on his wrist as he weaved through the tentacles, severing a tentacle with each swing.

"Is that all you've got? No matter how many tentacles you have, once I cut them off, you won't have any means of attacking anymore." Daga flew around, severing the tentacles that were trying to pull him away.

But what makes Gatanothor so terrifying is not just its tentacles. The tentacles that Daga severed regenerated at a speed visible to the naked eye the moment they fell into the sea, and even became thicker.

"Watch out below!" Kaul roared, maneuvering Little Rock to dodge and even counterattack.

Suddenly, two giant pincers emerged from the seabed without warning. One pincer slammed down on Tiga, while the other pincer locked onto Dark Daga, who was swinging his sword.

Tiga reacted extremely quickly, pushing off with both legs in the air and using the reaction force to avoid the pincers' strike.

Daga, however, was not so lucky. He had just severed one of the tentacles, his old strength exhausted and no new strength generated, when the giant pincers slammed into his chest.
