"You forced me into this!" Charles shouted maniacally. "Today, it's either him or me! The Law Institute and the city garrison, heed my command: kill all the hunters!"
"Charles!" Morgan roared, nearly fainting from anger again.
"Wait a minute! Wait a minute!"
Suddenly, one of the hunters ran toward Charles.
"Chief! I'm one of our own!"
Charles glanced at the man and knew that he was one of the people Charles had placed among the hunters.
Charles was furious that they had failed to complete their mission.
The law firm's gravity body pointed a gun at the hunter.
Charles said coldly, "You still have the nerve to come here!"
He paused for a second, then quickly said, "My lord, I have something to report!"
The man knew that failing to complete the mission was a capital offense. So, in his final moments, he hoped to exchange the information he possessed for some credit.
He took out a portable computer and projected a holographic video directly onto the screen.
The scene depicts the hall of Nirvana, where Jingyuan is battling the Devouring Beast.
Jing Yuan could kill a Devouring Beast with a single strike.
However, a scene appeared on the screen where Jing Yuan waved his hand, and a black object instantly pierced through the Devouring Beast!
With another wave of its hand, the object pierced through the Devouring Beast once more.
During the battle against the Flower Calyx Beast, many people witnessed Jing Yuan controlling a cone-shaped object to pierce the Flower Calyx Beast's body.
