Sheng Sheng had already heated the cooked food and placed it on a plate. He took a carton of milk from the fridge and put it into the microwave, waving at her, saying, "Come eat."

Maimai provocatively lay on the couch, staying put. "Who said I want to eat that? At night, I only eat some yogurt and fruit. Eating that will make me fat."

"Come over," Sheng Sheng said, squinting a little as he spoke.

Under the light, he did have a bit of an imposing presence, but Maimai wasn’t afraid. Watching him pour milk into a glass, she said, "I want yogurt, not regular milk."

"Not making do! I want cherries and mangoes, nothing else."

Sheng Sheng turned back and gave her a long look, saying nothing. He took out his phone from his pocket and called his assistant, saying to Maimai while dialing, "Anything else you want to eat? I’ll ask them to buy it all."

"Can’t think of anything right now." Maimai poked at the food on her plate with a spoon. "None of this is my favorite. I’ll wait for my fruit."

"Just eat a little to fill your stomach. Look, I spent half the day cooking. Give me some face," Sheng Sheng pulled a chair to sit beside her, gently moving her bangs aside, his gaze lingering on her face. "You see, your chin is getting so pointed. Being too thin isn’t attractive. Don’t try to lose weight every day. You’re already beautiful as a fairy, and you have plenty of resources for acting. Don’t mistreat your body."

"Who says I’m mistreating myself? I’m just being health-conscious, okay? Don’t you know it’s good for girls to eat some fruit at night for their skin?" Maimai argued, flicking away his hand with her sharp words. "I naturally have a sharp chin, a good face shape, and natural beauty. It’s enviable but unattainable."

Sheng Sheng smirked, loving her confident and self-absorbed adorable demeanor.

Maimai curled her lip: "Tell me, what will it take for you to terminate our contract?"

Sheng Sheng stared into her eyes: "Don’t even think about it!" He had created Precious Heart to keep her within his care, ensuring her protection. How could he ever agree to dissolve the contract?

He had made up his mind about this five years ago and spent those years achieving this goal. Now he only wanted to use all of Precious Heart’s resources to serve her. How could he possibly agree to her request?
