Chapter 194 Aunt Petunia's Strangeness

Chapter 194 Aunt Petunia's Strangeness

The clock pointed to seven o'clock. The bloated Uncle Vernon walked up the wooden stairs to the door and picked up the new newspaper on the ground. His fat body made the wooden floor creak.

Harry was genuinely worried about the boards.

"These politicians just like to quarrel over such boring things!" Vernon took the grapefruit handed to him by Harry and sighed heavily.

The air current made his shaggy beard tremble.

Grapefruit was a food on the nutritional diet sheet sent to Dudley by school, because Dudley was so fat that the school warehouse couldn't find a uniform that could accommodate him.

So, the school doctor strongly urged Dudley to lose weight during the holidays.

In order to take care of Dudley's "weak" mind, Aunt Petunia asked the Dursleys to strictly follow a nutritional diet.

Vernon and Dudley were picking up spoons with gloomy faces when the doorbell rang.

Vernon and Petunia looked at each other. The visit of the government department to his home last year was still fresh in their minds.

"Harry, you go and see... Never mind, I'll go." Uncle Vernon stood up from the chair with great effort and moved his body, which could fit in the corridor, towards the entrance hall.

There were voices at the door and someone was laughing, and after Uncle Vernon said a few words, there were the sound of footsteps in the hallway.

Just as Harry was wondering where he seemed to have heard this voice before, a man in a gray suit showed a handsome and charming face from the doorway.

There were two red furry ones moving around behind him.

"Sirius?"

Harry couldn't resist the urge to jump for joy, and he threw himself into Sirius' arms like a young swallow returning to its nest.

When Aunt Petunia saw the visitor was dressed in expensive clothes and had an attractive appearance, she subconsciously adjusted her clothes.

After seeing that Harry knew the visitor, a funny expression of shock and disbelief lingered on her face.

"Hello, I am Harry's godfather - Sirius Black..."

Before Sirius could finish his words, Aunt Petunia looked furious and slammed the teapot onto the dining table with a bang, causing the plates on the table to clink.

"Godfather? Where did this godfather suddenly appear from? We have adopted him for more than ten years and have never heard of the godfather! Who are you?"

Aunt Petunia walked quickly up to Sirius, pointed her finger at his nose and shouted.

The spit spraying everywhere almost hit Sirius in the face.

Fred and George couldn't stand it anymore after hearing what Aunt Petunia said. They jumped out and stared at the Dursleys angrily.

"By adoption you mean letting him live in the stairwell?"

"Wearing clothes that others don't want?"

"Endless housework?"

"A childhood without freedom?"

Fred and George took turns talking to each other, tacitly exposing the Dursleys' "torture".

This was the first time Sirius heard about the life his godson had been living under someone else's roof for all these years, and the expression on his face gradually became gloomy as the twins spoke more and more.

With a gloomy face, he pulled away the twins who were standing in front of him and defending Harry.

"I am indeed Harry's godfather. The reason I only showed up now is because I have some reasons that I cannot tell you."

Sirius paused, his anger no longer contained, and he was shaking with anger.

"Although I am grateful that you adopted Harry, you cannot bully him now."

Sirius calmed himself down and tried to resist the urge to teach them a lesson with his wand.

He closed his eyes, his tone full of joy, "He is not alone, I am his family."

Uncle Vernon and Aunt Petunia seemed shocked by Sirius' words. They opened their mouths for a long time before they reacted.

"I'm his aunt, I won't hand him over to a godfather who suddenly appears after more than ten years!"

Aunt Petunia turned her head to look at Harry who was standing in front of the cupboard, her eyes filled with complex emotions that he could not understand.

Harry didn't understand, and didn't want to understand.

He was no longer willing to endure life at the Dursleys', with all those stupid and boring rules and regulations.

"Let's go, Godfather."

Harry brought the twins to his small room and took out the luggage he had packed long ago from under a hidden floor.

"cool!"

“This is a great method.”

"Brother, we have to learn it too, so that mom can never find the orders we hide."

Fred and George looked at the raised floor with great curiosity and asked carefully about the specific method, intending to replicate it at the Burrow.

As they came down the stairs, dragging their large suitcases, Aunt Petunia stood on the stairs watching them.

Harry saw something of a reluctant look on her face, and he felt that he must have seen it wrong.

For the past decade or so, the Dursleys have been hoping that this burden could leave.

Now I can finally get what I want.
